I went with the 3 taco special and decided on: Cajun cod, Grilled Chicken Asado and Jerk Chicken - with my favourite being the cod. The purple cabbage was a nice touch on jerk chicken, and the same for the cheese on the chicken asado. The service was OK, the waitress was pleasant, and We sat out on the patio. My first visit didn't disappoint, and I'd definitely return to try some other items on the menu!

I went last night for a Halloween party. I went with the taco trio (pick any three tacos). I had the chicken asada, tofu and the butternut squash tacos. They were delicious. The staff were friendly too.

The chicken torta is my FAVORITE. New favorite taco spot. I will keep talking about the torta - very well priced!! Restaurant decor is beautiful, great date spot. Take-out available with a comfoetable couch to wait on. Dine-in can take a while for the food to arrive when busy.

I actually didn't eat any food. Let me explain. From the outside this looks like a quaint taco place with indoor and outdoor seating. But little did I know that there is a room behind the kitchen for concerts! I met some friends there and they had mexican wraps while I just had a beer. The service was super friendly and accommodating. We saw a couple of up and coming music acts. The venue has a sizable bar, some standing room and a few booths at the back. The crowd was mostly university age.

Sat on the outdoor patio and it was surprising empty. The food was absolutely fire. Loved the tacos here! Their tacos aren’t spicy at all and are super good warm. (They are not great cold). I ordered their fish taco, and the two pork tacos. The fish taco was my favorite! The waitress was very nice and accommodating too. We had someone join us halfway and she helped us move a table and a chair over. Not sure why, but we sat near the street, def should have sat a little more in. The chairs on the cobblestone were not really a good idea because we almost fell over on multiple occasions.

Good tacos, good vibes, and good music. We came on a Wednesday evening on a recommendation from a friend. They hosted their work party here and really enjoyed it. Would recommend ordering 3 tacos for 16 - pretty good value as they really pile on the ingredients. Music was 2010-2020 EDM, and it has a nice intimate vibe inside. Recommend the Surf n turf, the jerk chicken, and the beer braised pork!

Moonlight Lounge at Taco Taco is a great venue for an event. Had a surprise birthday party there and it was wonderful. Great food, great service and cool atmosphere! We had just the right quantity of food for the number of guests. Bar service was perfect! The entrance is down a side alley which gave it a private "speakeasy" feel. Thanks to all the folks at Taco Taco for making the event go smoothly!

Follow @bredgyeats for yummy food pictures! Instead of celebrating Taco Tuesday, it's tacos every day when you can try a new one of a different flavour and find your favourite. The crispy fish tacos are an interesting fusion of Asian and Latin flavours. Alternatively, the beer-braised pork has a distinct alcoholic tickle that compliments the pig surprisingly nicely.
